Hi, I'm Coti.
Mexican photographer and mentor based in Houston, Texas. What began as a desire to preserve my own family's memories became a lifelong pursuit of creating images with emotion, intention and purpose.

01 — Where It Began
It started as a hobby.
Then I understood why it mattered.
At first, I simply wanted to take better photographs of my children. I wanted to preserve the moments happening in front of me before they disappeared.
Over time, I understood that photography was one of the few ways we could return to those moments. It allows us to stop time, preserve what changes and hold on to what will never happen in exactly the same way again.

Her work goes beyond creating a beautiful portrait. Each experience is designed to help the person in front of the camera feel seen, guided and connected with their own authenticity.
Today, Coti leads a creative team and operates photography studios in Houston and Cadereyta, Nuevo León, developing personalized photographic experiences for clients across both Mexico and the United States.

In addition to her work as a photographer, Coti is the founder of Creando Imágenes, an educational platform through which she has trained thousands of photographers in Mexico and the United States.
Her teaching focuses on technique, lighting, direction, visual strategy, personal branding and the professional development required to build a sustainable photography career.
For Coti, teaching is not simply about explaining how to use a camera. It is about transmitting a way of seeing, feeling and constructing images with purpose.

I wasn't trying to

Curiosity became obsession. Obsession became passion. And passion eventually became purpose: inspiring people to see themselves through new eyes through photography, education and experience, so they can recognize their value, their story and their capacity for transformation.
